For Brazz, bouldering has never been just about grades, attempts, or individual performance. It’s first and foremost a shared experience: made of glances exchanged beneath a problem, ideas traded between rests, and insights born from connection.

Climbing together means learning, cross-pollinating, growing – not only as athletes, but as people. With this video, we want to tell exactly this side of climbing: the human one.

Through the words of Alessandro Palma, we see how the true value of a session isn’t just about sticking a move, but about the constant exchange with those who share the rock with us. Because sometimes all it takes is a “non-existent” hold pointed out by a friend to completely shift your perspective. And remind us that bouldering is, above all, about connection.

Alessandro Palma: "My idea of climbing with Elias basically goes like this: steal everything you can. When you’re close to your limit, it’s often the small details that make the difference — and in that, he’s truly a master. It’s pretty much like going back to school… What blew my mind the most is definitely his ability to read the rock, imagining grips that almost don’t exist. Coming from the competition world, I have a lot of creativity when it comes to finding alternative beta, but I still struggle to really see holds in natural rock, especially the weird ones. I remember standing under God’s Mushroom, trying to figure out how to move from one sloper to the next without messing up the sequence… and Elias just looked at me like I was stupid, pointing at this absurd palm press that I didn’t even consider a hold. Turns out — not only is it a hold, it’s actually good! Obviously everyone knows that climbing with someone stronger is a huge bonus, but what I enjoy most about sharing sessions with Elias is the constant exchange of impressions and opinions, which goes far beyond climbing itself. This kind of sharing feels much deeper than simple admiration for a strong climber and often has nothing to do with how hard someone climbs or what grade they send. Sending GsM is just another step toward the final version of Linea Reale, an 8A+ bloc on the right. Linking the stand start into the sit start could turn into something really fun. I fell on the top in 2025 — maybe 2026 will be the year!"
