In a world where everyone follows the beaten path, we chose to climb the one less traveled—steep, rough, with a few crashpads underneath. We are a flock of black sheep. Different by nature, united by the same passions: bouldering, well-made craftsmanship, and things that last. What you see in our products is the result of real hands at work, of people who chose to stay in Italy’s inland areas, where every stitch is a small victory. Where every production step tells the story of our families and roots. We had the chance to introduce ourselves for the first time, reflecting on who we are, in this video from the Wild Roots project by Michele Viglierchio.
Where does a crashpad come from? Where you fall… and rise again
Our crashpads don’t come from an assembly line, but from a workshop overlooking the hills, often covered in the chalk of those who live every day in the dust. We design them with care, test them with scraped hands and bruised knees. Every pad holds a piece of our story: friendships born long ago, or at the foot of a boulder, during endless afternoons spent chasing the perfect line. Laughter, falls, and that burning desire to try again—even when it feels like you’ve got nothing left.
Stubborn hats (just like us)
Our hats aren’t just accessories. They’re a statement. We make them at zero-kilometer range, using selected fabrics and a style that asks no permission. Each model carries our desire to stand out—even within a flock that shares passions and adventures. Underneath that hat, there’s a lot of stubbornness. The good kind. The kind that lets you inherit centuries of know-how and push it toward the future, your passions, and unexplored horizons.
Friendship, passion, craftsmanship
Everything began with a genuine love for bouldering. Today we are a brand with a clear identity, doing things at the pace of our own abilities—but always raising the bar, pushing beyond our limits. We believe in the value of time, in the beauty of handmade goods, and in the strength of staying where many choose to leave. Every crashpad that leaves our workshop is one of a kind. Every hat is a small personal revolution. And every time one of you takes them to the crag… well, we feel like we’re part of something bigger.
Sustainability that’s not just a trend
We don’t need a green label to feel good about what we do. We simply live and produce sustainably—respecting those who work with us, the land that hosts us, and the people who choose to “climb up”—even when staying on the ground would be easier.
“From the flock”
If you, too, are a black sheep… then you’re in the right place. We don’t just make crashpads and hats. We offer a different way of experiencing climbing—and maybe even life. You’ll find us on the blocs, in the woods, at small-town festivals, and sometimes on a train with a chalk-stained backpack. Join us. It’s not the right flock. It’s the wrong one. And that’s exactly why it’s beautiful.
